Social Committee
The
members discussed the outcome of the Regional Training Conference held
today at the Peoria Police Department. All members felt that the conference
was a success and would like to hold a Conference every 2 months in
a different region. Lois Welling suggested asking the MTU's on which
region to go to next. Mike Button commented that Racial Profiling is
a good topic at this time because so many departments are scared of
what could happen. Al Clark suggested involving participants in a practical
during the conference. Another suggestion was to show a video during
the time the group has lunch. Jim Gentry commented that Mike Zopf was
an excellent speaker on this topic. Lois Welling and Freda Heflin will
work on setting up the next conference to be held sometime in April.

Button made motion to accept the Old Business. Jim Gentry seconded the
